I have the PC and Tv connected through a TP-Link router, via LAN not wifi. I checked the dhcp clients on the routers configuration and i see the PC and the TV (I guess, because appears with no name), Upnp is enabled. The network works, I can connect the tv and pc to the internet aswell. #PS3 MEDIA SERVER NO RENDERERS WERE FOUND PC# I've tryed Windows Media 11, following the configuratin steps of sony's australia youtube i could make the server appear on tv, and even see the computer's shared folders tree, but no file avilable, that is not true, there are plenty or files on that folder.
At this point some thing take my attention, on the tv menu i still seeing Windows media player's server icon, and the same folder tree i got with the windows media player, and the same result "no files on the folder".Īfter setting up the software, a "device" (i guess it was the tv) appeared on the tversity menu, but couldn't make it work. This make me think that i have to refresh the server status on the tv, i erased and run an update but the same server appeared, and the windows icon still there. #PS3 MEDIA SERVER NO RENDERERS WERE FOUND UPDATE#
So i tried again the Tversion software with no results at all, even i couldn't get the files loaded on tversion's interface, also i read that was impossible to make it work because my tv doesn't like tversion due to some uncompatibility stuff. #PS3 MEDIA SERVER NO RENDERERS WERE FOUND SOFTWARE# Then I tried the next option, as a friend recomended me, ps3 media server, i downloaded the latest version and tested, didn't work, then i found this forum and read about the renderer's conf files, so i made my "own" modification to the bravia5500 conf wich no results, after that i found the information regarding the nf as appears on this topic. I tryed it, nothing worked, then i keep reading and tryid several ps3 media server versions with no results, allways adding the nf on the renderer's folder (file that never was installed by the set up program), i read on the status that everything is loaded except VSFilter, as far as i know is not important for the server. I tryed too, changing the network settings adding ip, and port, also didn't work the actual ps3 media server version is 1.20.409. I also look for VLc dlna possibilities, but nothing was found on that topic.ĭunno if it's my computer's registry that is making weird things after trying like 5 media servers, the tv's server information wich keeps showing windows media player icon, or just that is imposible to find a solution. Anyone have any idea? i know i should copy the debug.log, but first wanted to explain what happened, and the message is big enough already.
